Announcing the Summer Reading Program – Tails & Tales

Challenge yourself this summer by completing a Bingo card full of reading-related activities to win fun prizes for children and adults. Children will get a “goodie” bag upon entering. Registration begins June 28 at the library. All events are at the library except the polka party, which will be at the Poy Sippi Community Park. Events include:

  • How to Make a Hedgehog with Heidi Hensel-Buntrock, Waushara County 4-H Coordinator. 11 a.m. July 12. Lesson on animals and a book-folding craft to make a hedgehog.
  • Waushara County K9 unit with Deputy Brian Wenzel and K9 Thor. 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 14. A craft project will follow.
  • Bubble Party at the Library – Let’s have some summer fun blowing bubbles of all shapes and sizes! 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 21.
  • For the Birds with Heidi Hensel-Buntrock, Waushara County 4-H Coordinator. 11 a.m. Monday, July 26. Come learn about birds and do a bit of bird watching.
  • Polka ‘Til You Drop – Music, food and lots of fun! Winners will be drawn for the Summer Reading Program challenges. 10 a.m. Saturday, July 31, Poy Sippi Community Park.
